Watch teenager ride self made bin collecting cycle, designed in a bid to keep India clean
Fuelled by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for a cleaner nation, a teenager from northern India has successfully created a bin collecting cycle.
Jayaprakash Bhind, a student of class 12 from Mawaiya village of Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur district, was filmed riding his bin collecting cycle near his residence.
Visuals showed the teenager collecting waste while taking a ride.
So, what is the bin collecting cycle and how does it work?

As the rider passes by, the propeller scoops out the waste from the ground and deposits it in the box. The sponge helps the blades collect the waste.
"This device will help collect the scraps a lot quicker and will make waste collecting a lot easier," Jayaprakash said.
Ram Braksh, Jayaprakash’s father, said his son took nearly two years to perfect the model.
“There were days when he would work throughout the night. He welded the machine all by himself. As people saw him handle the electronic equipment, they would often tell me to look after his safety,” the proud father said.
“He is a very dedicated and smart boy,” Ram Braksh added.
The model has been to various exhibitions around the country.
Jayaprakash himself said he was inspired by Modi’s call for a cleaner India and wanted to contribute to the nat
