Man lets poisonous spiders crawl across his face
Bizarre footage has emerged of a survival expert putting live wolf spiders in his mouth and letting a tarantula run across his face.
The video of survival expert Jean-Luc Sanchez was shot in late October in the Bolivian jungle during a demonstration to the Bolivian Army.
Sanchez says he performed the stunt to show soldiers that even dangerous spiders can be handled safely in the right way.
According to Sanchez, the wolf spider, though less well known than your friendly neighbourhood tarantula, has venom harmful to humans and could cause a person’s throat to swell up.
