This was the moment a man in Wigan, Greater Manchester was seen vandalising a parked car by kicking the passenger side wing mirror on April 20.

The driver, a nurse who had just finished a 12-hour shift, spotted the uncouth individual while on her way to get a coffee at the Costa in Robin Retail Park.

Unsure what to do with the footage she acquired, she took the footage to her son-in-law, who eventually managed to track down the owner of the car, as it was from a local dealership.

It is still unknown who the criminal is but the manager of the car dealership was grateful for the help.

My mother in law was leaving the Wigan ASDA store and going for a coffee at the local Costa on robin retail park in Wigan after a long 12 hour night shift as a nurse when she saw a random Cyclist start smashing up a car that was parked up on the car park as she drove past.
She was unsure what to do so came to my house to show me the footage, I then went straight back and found the car smashed up , took some pictures and tried to locate the owner. After a while I found out the car had been bought by the company we buy any car , the manager there knew of the damage but had no idea how it happened or why?
I told him I had the footage and description of the man responsible and offered it to him, he was grateful and accepted the footage.
I later dropped off the footage and received a e-mail thanking me for it.
no-one has yet been found for the damage to my knowledge unfortunately.
