Fireplace Horrors - Birds Nest Falling Down Chimney When Fire Was Lit - Chimney Sweep Did A Bad Job! Fire Risk! - 2010
This happened back in 2010. I go downstairs to sudden screams and found a whole birds nest had fallen down our (recently swept) chimney onto a lit fire. Smoke filled the room a bit while my mother scrapes bird nest from the fire while glowing embers are still in place.
This is why you never leave your fire unattended folks!
