Thousands of colourful floating umbrellas were seen hanging above a famed street of silk-weavers in Hanoi, Vietnam, in this amazing clip.

The video, captured at Van Phuc Silk Village in Ha Dong District on May 7, shows an extended view from street level looking up, from which we can see thousands of umbrellas and spinners hanging overhead.

The filmer commented: "They are hung over promenades giving pedestrians a nice shade and something cool to look at."

Van Phuc is renowned for its traditional weaving and premium quality silk products. At more than 1200 years old, Van Phuc is known to be the oldest silk village in Vietnam.
