Slipper in hand, woman thrashes impostor who tried to steal money
The woman in uniform stood and watched as another, a civilian, grabbed a man by the back of his shirt, dragged him around the narrow Jamshedpur street, and attacked him with a slipper.When the man was later ushered into a car, the woman dropped her slipper, wore it and walked away.The man had posed as an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officer and asked the woman for Rs 50,000. She called him on the pretext of giving him the money to have him arrested.Footage of the incident, filmed in Jamshedpur's Mango area, also showed the alleged fraudster being attacked by a man, who threw him onto the street and beat him with a stick.
