A two metre long python is caught hiding under a toilet after killing two chickens.

The reptile had strangled the poultry before scared away by the owner and taking refuge in the outside loo in Chachoengsao, Thailand, on May 6, 2019.

The resident, Chomsuan Chadathong, 63, said he heard the struggle and stopped the snake from swallowing his chickens, which were already dead.

Rescue workers arrived and caught the python before dragging it out into the open and putting it into a bag to be driven away.

Chomsuan said: ‘’I was out walking and when I came back I heard a lot of noise. ‘’I checked in the chicken coup and two birds had been strangled to death. But the snake hadn’t eaten them.

‘’I hit the snake with a stick and it fled. I chased it out and it hid under the toilet. I couldn’t reach inside so I called for help.’’

It took the experts fives minutes to catch the snake, which was taken to a vets to be treated for injuries suffered in the struggle.
