I had been watching a parent Tawny Frogmouth sitting on her very flimsy nest of a few twigs and leaves hoping to see a chick hatch over the next few days. She hatched a single chick and it was such a special time I took some video footage of her guarding the chick over several days.Nature is wonderful. This was taken near Fremantle,Western Australia,Summer 2019.
