heavy floods render most people and livestock homeless in Bwalanga Western Kenya, in the video a man tries to save his cow from being swept away others carry their belongings to safety, Kenya Red Cross personnel through the government were in the ground to transport the elderly to safety, for shelter makeshift tents were pitched by Red cross personnel who offered food to the displaced, the flooding has so far ended and most people have relocated back to their houses, the most affected animals were
cows and goats which belonged to the elderly who could not rescue them on time, at the time of shooting livestock tally had not been taken hence the exact number of dead livestock was not established,
but there were no reports of any human death,
