Eiffel Tower evacuated after man seen climbing up the French landmark
The Eiffel Tower has been evacuated following reports of a man climbing up its side.
Footage shows the man scaling the building this afternoon (May 20).
''Man climbed up the side of the Eiffel Tower and dangled off the top for 3 hours,'' the filmer said.
A team of firefighters is on the scene and in touch with the climber. It is unclear the reason why the man climbed the French landmark, media reported.
