Terrifying footage shows a huge swarm of bees covering a vehicle left in a supermarket car park.

Shoppers on Monday, May 20, fled in panic when the swarm consisting of hundreds of bees settled on the back of a Honda SUV.

A local beekeeper had to be called in to try and collect the bees from the parked cars.

Witnesses said the swarm first landed on a Ford in the car park of Asda in Hayle, Cornwall, before moving onto the second vehicle.
