The family of a missing Feltham man has told a Newsflare reporter that they believe a body found in a burnt-out shed is his.

Mohammed Shar Subhani has not been seen since May 7.

In an interview with Newsflare, his brother Ali says he fears that his brother has been kidnapped and murdered. "We just want our brother back," Ali said.

He added that he had been going from "door to door" in the area in search for his sibling.

A statement from Scotland Yard said: "Police continue to appeal for information following the disappearance of a 27-year-old man from Heston.

"Mohammed Shar Subhani was reported to police as missing on Tuesday, 7 May 2019 shortly before midnight having last been seen by his family at 12.30pm that same day.

"Officers are working to establish the exact circumstances of Mohammed’s disappearance. A well-resourced investigation continues apace with assistance also being provided by specialist officers from the serious and organised crime unit.

"The missing man’s family are in close contact with the police and being kept updated with any significant developments. All new information concerning Mohammed’s whereabouts is being carefully assessed and actioned where appropriate.

"Detective Chief Inspector Alex Bingley from West Area CID, said: 'Mohammed’s disappearance is out of character and it has now been over 10 days since Mohammed was last seen. The longer it goes without any contact from him, the more concerning the situation is.

He added: "He was last seen wearing dark trousers, a white t-shirt and jacket. I would urge anyone with information as to Mohammed’s whereabouts or movements to call police immediately. The death is currently being treated as unexplained."

The Met Police added: "At this stage there is no evidence to suggest any link to Mohammed Shar Subhani and this investigation, though officers retain an open mind and enquiries continue.”

Anyone with information is asked to call West Area CID via 101 quoting ref: 19MIS017114. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
