The video captured at Kim Nguu River in Ha Noi city, Viet Nam on May 20.

The video shows, this is a horribly contaminated river section. The river is so contaminated that you cannot see water. Garbage has covered the water surface. The water on the river is black and stinks.

Hazardous non-recyclable objects such as plastic bottles and rubber slippers, amongst others are commonly found floating on the river. Moreover, toxic industrial waste products are also dumped into the river each day and household garbage is also discarded in huge quantities.

You can find almost every sort of waste you can think of, ranging from chemical waste from factories, domestic or medical waste to dead bodies of animals.
