Verbal Altercation Leads to Shooting, Suspect Flees the Scene
LASD deputies are investigating a shooting that left one victim with unknown injuries in the 4500 block of 173rd Street. Initial reports were that the victim and the suspect/s got into a verbal altercation at a nearby 711 after which shots were fired and the victim was hit. The suspect/s fled in what was reported to be a 2000 silver or grey Honda Odyssey in an unknown direction of travel. The suspect was described as possibly a hispanic male adult. The type of weapon or caliber is unknown at this time and it's unknown how many times the victim was shot and what his condition is. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
