This determined snake slithered inside a hole under a tree to catch its lunch.

The 7ft long oriental rat snake chased the rodent into the hole from which there was no escape.

The snake spent around ten minutes with its jaws plunged into the crevice while catching the rat.

It finally emerged with the creature half-swallowed onto the tiles in the garden in Surin, Northeastern Thailand, on December 1, 2018.
