Ram and shyam are 40 years old conjoined twins from Gaya in the northeast Indian state of Bihar struggling to survive as they now plead for help as their parents have failed to manage funds for their separating-operation.

Since birth they have struggled to survive but their condition continues to worsen by the day as the wound near the junction of their attachment seems to have increased to a greater extent.

Ram says, "Earlier we used to walk without any discomfort but now the condition has made us immobile bound to a bed"
Their desperate parents have tried their best and have exhausted all their funding sources for the treatment of their children.
Ram further says: "We managed to fund our treatment till now but with the increasing treatment and medicine costs it won't be possible to go further without a proper funding aid."

"The government hasn't come to our rescue yet as they have not categorized us under the 'Disabled' category."

Her teary-eyed brother says, "It has been a long battle for us and we know it is going to be longer but we feel helpless without any proper funding. We cannot afford the expense of the treatment and also cannot afford to see their die in front of our eyes."
While the upper portion are emerged as two different bodies the twins share the same anatomy below the hip.
The Indian doctors have now said that the twins need an urgent operation as the infection in the wound near the hip has gone severe.
