This is the moment a pedestrian survives two back-to-back accidents and survives to tell the tale.

The incident occurred in Davanagere in southern India on May 26.

A traffic CCTV camera in front of the Raj Bhavan hotel filmed the man in a white shirt trying to cross a busy road with his companions.

The group walked to the middle of the road and then stopped to make way for a passing tuk tuk.

A bike rider speeding next to the tuk tuk was unable to slow down and ploughed into them.

While two men were flung to a distance, the man in white shirt fell down at the same spot and came under a speeding lorry.

Incredibly, he came between the front wheels of the vehicle and survived. Onlookers rushed to move him to a hospital.

A traffic police officer at the spot said: “The man first dodged a head-on collision with the bike, which could have hurt him grievously. He then escaped getting run over by the lorry.”

“The lorry grazed his leg and he is under treatment for a leg injury,” added the officer.

The police have filed a case and are probing.
