This couple had a disgusting surprise after being woken up at 4am by a gecko - pooing on their bed. Tourists Erica Shaw and husband Garry were staying at the hotel in Bali, Indonesia, when they were woken up in the early hours of the morning on May 12. They noticed the brown mess on the clean bed sheets then looked at the wooden rafters of the villa room where they saw the culprit. The large green gecko was clinging to the beams, with what could have been an unmistakably guilty look. The reptile was directly above the poop which was on the bed and the couple are sure the reptile was responsible. Erica, from New South Wales, Australia, said: ''What a way to start the day. We knew we had a visitor in our room as most days we came home to find droppings on our bed and floor. But this was the icing on the cake. Thankfully we could both see the funny side and laughed about it.''
