Firefighters rescued residents trapped by deep floods in a Chinese village.

The clip, shot in Zhuhai City in southern China's Guangdong Province on May 27, shows firemen using a bucket to transfer a five-month-old baby through the flooded streets.

Another firefighter carried a woman on his back whilst walking through the deep water.

A strong rainstorm hit the city causing flash floods in several sections of the city's roads.

5月26日20时至27日12时，珠海市普降大暴雨局部特大暴雨，全市平均雨量169毫米，珠海金湾、斗门、高栏受灾严重，辖区内多处路段发生水浸，市消防支队119指挥中心陆续接到群众被困警情。面对特大暴雨造成的道路积水、人员被困等险情，消防救援人员始终心系群众、竭诚为民，与天灾展开了一场与时间赛跑的生命大营救。

27日7时39分，珠海市金湾区红旗镇虹山1路20号大新村发生群众被洪水围困警情，红旗消防中队迅速出动2辆消防车12名指战员赶往现场。
救援人员抵达时发现，现场水深已达1.5米深，楼内一名妇女紧紧抱着一5个月大的婴儿，利用一台三轮车形成高地站着，情绪激动。为确保婴儿安全，消防员将婴儿放入红色脸盆中，并用雨伞遮雨，运往安全地带。同时，另一名消防员背起妇女将其转移至安全地带。
