Rivers was hit by a car in March. We rushed him to the hospital where they told us he was most likely paralyzed and that we should put him down. We told them they didn’t know Rivers and that we would not be giving up on him so easily. We paid them over 3 grand for their help but ultimately we left the hospital with Rivers unable to basically move and we had to flip him every 4 hours to keep him from getting bed sores and we had to put puppy pads under him so when he went to the bathroom he wouldn’t soak his bed. As time has passed rivers had continue to get better and better constantly defying the vets. I recently have been taking Rivers to physical therapy and it has been working so well. As you can see in the video rivers can now walk on his own even if he is just a little wobbly. Our hope is that he continues to get better everyday and we plan to waltz back into that vets office with rivers walking on his own and show all the doctors how wrong they were. I hope anyone who is in a similar situation reads this and knows they are not alone and that miracles can happen when you refuse to give up.
