Driving on path while on the phone and queue jumping.

This happened on 25th May. Originally I was planning on turning right at the lights to go to Halfords but with heavy traffic in all directions due to a woman's England football match which was about to start at Bescot Stadium, Walsall, just a minutes drive away, I changed my plans. That's when I came across the silver mondeo trying to queue jump while talking on his phone. Queue jumping is a pet peeve of mine and I had no intention of letting him passed. What makes him more important than everyone else? Seeing I was preventing his progression he reverses hoping I would turn right between the stationary cars but that wasn't the direction I was going. His lack of patience ran out quickly and he took to the path while we both throw abuse at each other. He then drives around me on my left hand side and passes an audi that is now behind me before returning to the road and forcing his way back into the flow of traffic ready for the traffic lights.
I am not am angry driver, I'm highly opinionated.
