This is the moment a man was rescued on Saturday from a 50-foot-deep well in a remote part of southern India.

Businessman Madipelli Mogili skidded off the road two days earlier on his bike and fell into the water source in a village near Warangal.

Luckily, he survived the fall with only minor injuries but when he shouted for help, no-one heard him.

Eventually, a farmer walking past the well on Saturday heard Mogili's shouts.

A team of rescuers lowered ropes and Mogili managed to climb to safety.

He was reported to be dehydrated and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A businessman, Madipelli Mogili, accidentally fell into a 50-feet well, after skidding off the road.

Though Madipelli fell along with his bike, he luckily survived with minor injuries.

The incident occurred at Mucherla Nagaram village near Warangal in southern India on May 30.

He kept shouting for help but no one could hear him for two days as the well was at a remote place.

On June 1, a farmer, who was walking by the well, heard his cries and called for help. A team of rescuers lowered a rope and pulled out Madipelli from the well.

Madipelli, who was dehydrated, was taken to a hospital treatment.
