A truck flipped four times into oncoming traffic after the driver fell asleep at the wheel on the M1 in New South Wales, Australia.

The rolling vehicle narrowly missed a father on the way to meet his newborn granddaughter and he captured the incident on his dashcam Saturday, June 1 near Mooball.

The father and a nurse rushed to help the uninjured driver, who upon waking said: "He fell asleep and asked what happened," after miraculously avoiding the other cars on the road.

The driver of the 4wd fell asleep at the wheel, rolls over the median strip, across the 2 lanes of oncoming traffic, narrowly missing my dads car and other cars on the road.
My dad and other motorists stop immediately to help. A lady who happens to be a nurse is the 1st to arrive seconds before my dad. The driver of the 4wd looks to be in his late 20's to early 30's, tells her he fell asleep and asked what happened. She tells him he has had an accident and rolled his car.
Thankfully he did not hit any other cars and was completely uninjured and talking fine afterwards. My dad recalls seeing a roll cage in the 4WD so safe to say that saved his life. If my dad hadn't swerved when he did he would have been hit. So thankful luck was on his side as he is yet to meet his newborn grandaughter as we live interstate.
