Doctor thrashes patient on hospital bed in Western India
This is the horrific moment a doctor rained punches on his patient at a state-run hospital in west Indian state of Rajasthan.
The incident happed in the male general ward at Sawai Man Singh hospital in Jaipur. The doctor lost his cool over a trivial issues and manhandled his patient. None of the parties have lodged a complaint with the police. This raises serious questions about the way patients are taken care of, particularly in the state-run hospital, in the state of Rajasthan. Two years ago, a similar incident had come to light where two doctors broke into a fish-fight even as their patient was lying unconscious on the operating theatre.
