Noisy protest against Trump state visit to the UK in Parliament Square

Thousands of demonstrators, representing a variety of groups, from Stop the War and CND, to Stand Up To Racism, gathered in Parliament Square to protest against President Trump's state visit to the UK on 4 June. Carnival atmosphere reigns the protest with music bands proceeding outside the Parliament with placards stating Nobody Likes You. The demands of the protesters include: to Dump Trump, Fight Bigotry, say No to Racism - No to Trump, Keep Trump Away from NHS, Stop Trump's Nuclear Arms Race, Feed Him to Corgis and call on Trump to keep his Hands Off Palestine. Over 3,000 police officers were drafted into the capital today to manage this protest.
