Bizarre CCTV footage has emerged from Zhejiang Province, China of a drunk man running along the roofs of parked cars just before Christmas - reportedly for a dare.

According to local reports 21-year-old Mr Li, who works in a restaurant, was on his way home on Wednesday, 24 December with colleagues when one of them teased him about whether he was brave enough to walk along the cars. Emboldened by drink he decided to accept the dare -running along several including a BMW.

Reports say that Mr Li was rapidly sobered up and burst into tears when police told him the potential cost he’d have to pay. He’s said to have paid for part of the damage so far.
