Cheeky monkey gatecrashes Indian wedding and demands food plate from guests
This is the funny moment a cheeky monkey in east India gatecrashed a wedding event and sat with the guests to have food.
The incident happened at a wedding event in Serampore in West Bengal on May 22.
The video shows the primate sitting on the top of the table as two guests eat their respective plates.
One of the caterers is seen serving the food to the monkey as he asks if it would like to taste the chutney.
The caterer is seen feeding the ape with patience as he also chants 'Jai Shri Ram' to show respect to the monkey, as monkeys are considered sacred in Hinduism and worshipped in India widely.
One of the caterers said: "We cannot refuse food to the monkey as it is the form of Lord Hanuman and it is our pleasure that he has visited to bless us in this auspicious occasion."
