This is the moment a snake rescuer pulled a venomous king cobra from a motor scooter in northern India.

Jay Krishna Nayak was about to start up his vehicle on Wednesday (June 5) when he spotted the deadly reptile hidden beneath the seat.

Nayak threw the scooter to the ground and ran into his home in Baripada in the state of Odisha where he called a snake-catcher.

The expert arrived, quickly assessed the situation and managed to pull the cobra from the bike safely and release it in its natural habitat.

King cobras are the world's longest venomous snake.

A deadly venomous cobra has been rescued from a Scooter at Taktpur area under Baripada headquarters of Mayurbhanj district, Odisha.

According to sources, one deadly venomous cobra about 5 feet length hidden under the seat of the Scooter.When the owner Jay Krishna Nayak was ready to start the scooter, fortunately he saw the snake hidden inside the seat. Suddenly he shouted and left the scooter and ran inside the house.

Immediately some people gathered and tried to kill the cobra. But the owner Mr. Nayak denied killing the innocent cobra and he immediately called the snake rescuer Mr. Krisnshna Gochhayat. Mr.Gochhayat rushed to stop and rescued the deadly cobra. After one hour he rescued the cobra safely and released it in natural habitat.
