This is the shocking moment a woman is kicked out of a moving car in southern India. The incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras installed near the scene of the crime, too place on May 9 in Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu state.
Footage showed a black SUV slowing down a little as one of its gate open. A woman, dressed in black, is seen falling out of the car in a rather awkward manner.
After the woman is chucked out of the vehicle, it takes a right turn, stops for a second or two and drives away.
Apart from the woman, who sits up on the road, in a state of visible shock, others too are taken aback and it takes a while for them to register the event.
Once everyone realise it, some rush to help the victim, while others chase the car. The woman herself rushes to get hod of the victims, albeit through another road.
Reports have identified the victim as Aarti Arun, 38 and the perpetrator as Arun Amalraj, her husband. It said Aarti and Arun tied the knot in 2008. Soon after the marriage, Aarti endured torture from her husband and moved back to her parents' house in Mumbai along with her kids in 2014.
She also filed for a divorce and a domestic abuse case against her husband, who is an engineer by profession. Meanwhile, she could not turn turn a reconciliation offer from her husband earlier this year. Despite both the divorce and abuse charge pending in the court, Aarti decided to move back with their two children.
The family also went to a holiday in Ooty in May, when Arun turned back his old self and started the torture.
