A large swarm of koi carp with many different colours were filmed charging crazily to get at food being dropped in their pool in Vietnam.

The video, captured in Hanoi on June 5, shows koi fish scrambling for food thrown into the water. The aquarium fish can even be seen pushing each other out of the way as they try and grasp for more.

A koi carp (Cyprinus Carpio) is better known under the name Japanese koi carp. Under favourable conditions, the colourful fish can grow to a length of 28 to 32 inches, and may live to be 40-years-old.
