A snake was caught on a doorbell camera, again, trying scale a wall to reach a birds nest above the door.

Filmed on Thursday (June 13) in Arkansas, the snake can be seen attempting to slide itself up the wall and gliding over the camera lens in the process.

Shane Taylor, whose camera captured this footage, told Newsflare: "I was somewhat surprised, but I figured since he didn’t get to the eggs the previous day, that he was just going to keep trying."

This was not the first time the doorbell camera had captured the reptile, just the day before the snake was spotted trying to reach the birds' nest.

"I looked at the camera and was stunned. Showed my coworkers and completely derailed the meeting," Taylor told Newsflare.

"It isn't uncommon to see deer in the yard, never on the doorbell though. We've had tiny six-inch snake before, but again, never ON the doorbell," Taylor added.

My snake friend came back the next day and is trying to climb the wall again.

I was somewhat surprised, but I figured since he didn’t get to the eggs the previous day, that he was just going to keep trying.

Have not. This was the last time I have seen him. Unknown if he got the eggs or not.
