This hilarious video shows a holidaymaker diving into floodwater from inside his caravan after his summer getaway was ruined by unseasonably wet weather.

Footage filmed in Skegness, Lincolnshire on June 9, shows Alex Henderson throwing his body head-first into the inches-deep water and desperately trying to swim away from the caravan.

Henderson, 28, pulled on a pair of fetching yellow shorts, a swim cap and a pair of goggles after finding out the on-site pool was closed for the day.


Alex then flips his body over, a move he describes as "like an Olympic athlete," and starts doing backstroke towards a neighbouring caravan.
