These three teenagers had to be rescued after crashing a motorcycle into a water-filled roadworks pit. The group - all aged between 14 and 16 - were riding their moped when they ploughed through a construction warning barrier in Pattaya, Thailand, on Sunday (09/06) at 3am. The fell into the 4ft deep water where they remained stuck until emergency workers lifted them and their damaged bike out of the mess. They were taken to the local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Police are now investigating the crash scene after complaints that there was not adequate lighting to warn road users of a hole in the road. According to local media, it is the third accident in the six weeks where motorcycle riders have crashed into road works.
