An Indian sand sculptor has used his skills to wish the Indian cricket team good luck ahead of today's clash with rivals Pakistan in the World Cup.

Padmasree Sudarsan Pattnaik created a bat, the trophy and the two countries' flags out of sand along with the words "Good Luck" on Puri beach in the state of Odisha.

An India-Pakistan clash is often the most-watched match of the cricket World Cup.

Such is the excitement around it that the International Cricket Council (ICC) admitted three years ago to fixing the draws of tournaments in order to have both sides in the same group.
