On Saturday, June 15, 2019, in front of Independence Hall, Indivisible Philadelphia, a chapter of Indivisible.org, hosted an event titled, "Defending Our Democracy: Readings from the Mueller Report." This event was attended by members of the United States Congress as well as member of the Pennsylvania State Assembly. Activists gathered carrying the american flag and signs calling for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. Philadelphia police both in uniform and in plain clothes stand watch to keep order. Some it most notable guests were, U.S. Rep. Dwight Evans, member of the House Ways and Means Committee, U.S. Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, Vice Chair of the House Judiciary Committee and U.S. Rep. Madeleine, a member of the House Judiciary Committee.
