A dramatic video has emerged of a fire burning in a Walmart in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The footage, shot on Saturday from a car driving close to the shop, shows black smoke escaping from the burning building and the near-by Office Depot destroyed by the flames.

According to local media 12 people were injured among which 10 were employees of the shops who were hospitalised.

The reason why the fire started has not been communicated yet.
