Flash flooding has rendered some roads throughout Nairobi, Kenya uncrossable, with pedestrians paying vendors to take them to the other side of the road.

The video taken on June 14, showed pedestrians struggling or unwilling to cross the fast moving waters, when two vendors creatively used a cart to ferry people across at 10p a head.

Heavy rainfall results to flash floods which render the road from Kawangware to Lavington impassable, in the video most pedestrians could not cross the road and opted to wait till the waters level had gone down, however two vendors Mwangi and Omari quickly came up with a solution and provided a cart which they used to ferry people for a small fee of 0.1 dollars, their creativity saved the morning.
