Salt flat in Bolivia has surface like mirrored glass during rainy season
A travel photographer in Bolivia caught an amazing sight as the Uyuni salt flats seemed to show a glass-like surface during the rainy season.
The incredible footage, that shows a car driving in the distance being reflected by the salt, was filmed on January 27, during a 3-day trip from Atacama.
The effect is caused by standing water from the rains forming a undisturbed reflective surface against the salt and the sky.
The filmer commented: "The salt flats of Bolivia during the wet season where it looks like water! There is a 4x4 driving away in the distance looking like it's driving on water."
