Mass protest against extradition bill in Hong Kong

Organisers of a mass rally in Hong Kong estimate over 1 million people turned out wearing white shirts to protest the governments' extradition bill.
The controversial bill, organised by the Civil Human Rights Front – a coalition of pro-democracy groups, started in Victoria Park with the protesters walking 4.3 km to the central government offices in Tamar, Admiralty.
Demonstrator encircled the offices with clashes with police later in the evening as attempts to clear and open the streets were made.
