Vintage car show with rare models from the 1900s to present day
Footage shows beautiful vintage cars from the 1900s until present day at a car show in Nonthaburi, Thailand, this week.
The incredible selection of more than 100 vehicles were displayed across 5,000 square metres at a convention hall.
They classic cars included a stunning 1904 black from the U.S., Austin Sevens from the 1920s and post war sports cars including MGs, Ferraris, Porsches and Jaguars.
Kwanchai Papasapong, President of the Thailand Vintage Car Association, said the motors were judged in seven different categories. They were early cars (before 1904), veteran models (1905–1918) Vintage cars (1919-1930), pre-war vehicles (1931–1945), post-war vehicles (1946–1960), classic cars (1961–1970) and contemporary classic cars (1971 - Present).
Kwanchai Papasapong, President of the Thailand Vintage Car Association, said the theme was Aerodynamically Derived Aesthetics.
He said: ‘’We wanted to show how motor vehicles changed from the beginning of the 20th century when designers began to integrate aerodynamic theories into the shape of size of cars to improve the speed and acceleration.’’
