An excited fan twerked at a basketball game in the Philippines, to raucous appreciation from the crowd.

The teenage fan climbed onto the stands for his impromptu performance at half time, before going down to the court itself to continue the brief display.

The colourful performance by 19-year-old John Rey Abela, nicknamed "Boomba Wilma", drew noisy appreciation from members of the crowd.

The game was organised by the city government in the Negros Occidental region on 3 June.

Nineteen-year-old John Rey Abela, or "Boomba Wilma" started dancing in front of their seat in the audience which gathered cheers from the audience. He then proceeded to dance in the basketball court during the half time break of the game. The basketball game was organised by the city government.
