Bank robber gets trapped in teller cage in China
Amusing CCTV footage has emerged from China of a bank robber smashing into teller cages and getting trapped until police arrived in Hebei Province on Friday, 2 January
The footage shows the robber smashing a counter window with a hammer and climbing into the staff area - rummaging for cash while staff and customers gathered outside the secure teller cages to stop him escaping. Police arrived while he was still trapped and took him into custody.
Local police reportedly say the 22-year-old robber is a salesman for a local finance company.
