Whacky performers blast UK high street with streamers and confetti
The centre of Woolwich in London was taken over on Friday by a whacky group of performers who sprayed everyone and everything with streamers and confetti.
The "Joyous Urban Mess" event, which was part of the Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, saw four "workers" spray huge streamers from several canons onto the walls of buildings around the town centre.
Then they swapped streamers for confetti and filled the air with the coloured paper.
The Greenwich and Docklands International Festival described the event as a "spectacular disruption of an everyday high street."
