Commuters wait outside Victoria underground station after it was evacuated due to an emergency.

The voice-over announces that passengers should leave the station immediately due to an emergency during rush hour on Monday morning (June 24).

Transport for London confirmed that the station is closed thanks to a "fire alert" and is warning people to "use alternatives routes for now".

The morning of the 24th of june, one of the most busy london underground stations was evacuated due to a fire alert. The event took place at Victoria Station around 7:30 am, all the doors were shut and through the loud speakers people was encourage to leave the station due to a fire alert, a lot of police officers and fire engines from the London Fire Brigade were at the station.
