Cool 'Swing' Street Art Is A Hit In Malaysia

Tourists flock to this unique piece of street art - showing a brother and sister on a swing. The mural is daubed on a well in the George Town area of Penang, Malaysia. The art is cleverly framed by a rusty steel pipes with chains hanging down and swing seats inserted into the wall. The spray painting on the Gat Lebuh Chulia road has become the perfect picture spot for tourists exploring the George Town street art trail. The area, once a trading outpost of the British East India Company and the first British settlement in South East Asia, has become known for its street art found among the unique mix of colonial buildings mixed with Chinese shop houses and Asian buildings. The Brother and Sister on the Swing was created by deaf-mute artist Louis Gan. He made another across the road from the swing called The Brother and Sister Playing Basketball'.
