Footage shows hundreds of cars stuck in gridlocked traffic jams during a heavy rain storm in Manila, The Philippines on June 25 at 7pm in the evening.

Locals were travelling home when the torrential monsoon downpour from cyclone Dodong started in the Mandaluyong City area of the capital, causing chaos and delays on the road.

In the video, vehicles can be seen moving slowly on the congested road.

Felizardo Gregorio filmed the scene from his apartment building. He said: "The rain started pouring hard just before evening. I still needed to go to work, and the traffic brought so much hassle."
