A scary video has emerged of a picture frame falling off a shelf at a reputedly haunted antique shop in Barnsley, UK.

The video, captured from the shop's CCTV camera on the 10th of September, shows the frame - which hadn't been moved for two months - suddenly dropping to the ground in what the owner of the shop claims to be a case of paranormal activity.

According to the owner of the shop, he was in the middle of discussing previous ghostly incidents with a visitor when the event happened:

"A gentleman came in to sell us some things. He also asked about our hauntings and he explained his wife was a medium and he had some senses as well. I showed him photos of the ghostly faces I had on my phone caught from previous CCTV footage. We then walked around the centre and we were stood talking when suddenly from behind us a picture fell from the top shelf. On inspection the picture was of a skull which looked very similar to the photos i had just showed him
