A cyclist in central London captured footage of a ride where they weaved between lanes of gridlocked traffic yesterday (June 25).

Footage shows the cyclist going through claustrophobic narrow gaps between vehicles on the Strand including iconic red buses and black cabs.

The lack of space is nerve-wracking and accompanied by the risk of pollution, the video highlights problems with traffic in the capital.

The filmer tweeted: "On what planet is this transport policy for London working?

"This is the Strand today, but almost every road in central London was the same.

"When pollution is killing people, traffic isn't moving and cycling is so dangerous, when are you actually going to sort this @SadiqKhan?"
