Firefighters rescued a woman being washed down a river in southern China's Pengzhou city on June 21.

The video shows a woman being swept down a river after accidentally falling in.

Firemen can be seen running alongside to catch up to the woman and throw a life buoy to her. Then a firefighter tied to a rope jumped into the river to save her.

Other firefighters and kind-hearted residents on the shore pulled them back to safety.

After the paramedics and the ambulance arrived, the woman was sent to hospital.

汛期临近，市民在游玩时一定要远离河流。21日下午5点58分，彭州市天彭街道人民渠铁门槛段一名中年妇女不慎落水，当地消防部门迅速出动。
消防队员驾车来到人民渠，没有发现落水妇女的踪影，因水流很急消防队员驱车沿着河边继续往下搜寻。在铁门槛下游约2000米处，终于发现了落水妇女。其头部仰望在水面上，消防队员立即跳下车，拿着救生圈追着跑。一边喊话安慰落水妇女。
水流湍急，消防队员一边跑，一边将救生圈抛出去希望妇女能抓住救生圈。在第二次抛投救生圈时，刚好套在了妇女的头上，落水妇女牢牢抓住救生圈。
一名身系安全绳的消防员纵身一跃跳入河中，快速游向落水妇女，在岸上队员的配合下，将两人拉到岸边。消防队员与热心市民一道，合力将落水妇女成功营救上岸，同时拨打了120急救电话。

10分钟后，彭州市人民医院救护人员到达现场，待其情绪稳定后，大家将落水妇女送上了120救护车。
据妇女介绍，她在河边游玩时，自己不小心落水的。
