Vienna 'gas explosion' aftermath only minutes after the event

A suspected gas explosion blew a big hole in a building in Vienna. It left two people dead, at least 12 were injured, two of them seriously, according to police.

The explosion occurred on Wednesday, 26th of June 2019 around 4:30 p.m. (1430 GMT) in Vienna city center, the captial of Austria.

The video was taken by a neighboring resident and shows the scene just after the explosion seeing people giving first aid while one could still hear screams from inside the building. The video shows a big hole in the building and a debris-covered street. Several men can be seen carrying an obviously injured person away from the site.
